How To Make Money With Adsense

So you have decided to begin using Google’s adsense to make money off your site, that is a good idea! Too many people forget that simple website additions add up to make substantial amounts of money in the long run.
Adsense provide multiple type of banners, you need to select the ones that will blend as much as possible. Let’s face it if you have the standard adsense banner everybody uses with the border you will have a bad CTR (clickthrough rate), instead remove the border so the ad can blend with your content. Also, banner ads are also a very bad idea if you’re using AdSense. 480×60 type ads are a sure way to drive many people away as most Internet surfers have developed a natural resistance to such means of advertising.
Google let’s you insert 3 times your adsense code on any given page, one should be at the top, one on the side (skyscraper) and the last one at the bottom of the page. This way the whole page is covered with ads.
Before you begin to create your website you will need to do a little research, there are keywords that pay a few cents per click and some that pays twenty dollars and up! So you need to target the paying keywords and have related content on your page so that the adsense shows the high paying ads.
When you have your keywords on hand, it’s time to add content on your pages, it could be articles, a review or simply personal thoughts as long as it fits the keywords you are targetting.
Now that you have everything setup you need to drive traffic to your website, that can be done in many ways but the main traffic you should pursue is natural search engine traffic because it is free and you do not want to begin with paid traffic unless you know exactly what you are doing.
The last thing needed to build your adsense empire is to tweak your ads to get the best clickthrough rate you can have, a 2% CTR is very low, you should be able to get at least 12-15% and if you can get 25% that is very good.
