Your List Is Smaller Than A Midget - Do Something About It Now!

How many times have you heard building a huge list is where the money is. Thats true but the hard part is actually building the list. What I’m going to do (Cuz I’m a nice guy) is show you step by step on how I build lists fast and efficiently.
Step 1.
First thing you need to get an autoresponder. If you don’t know what an autoresponder is, its a script that allows you to organize and manage email leads. I use the third party service aweber. I have found them to be the best as far as service and features. If you do a google search for “Autoresponders” you can shop around and see which one fits you and your budget best.
Step 2.
Find something to give away. If your niche is internet marketing you could write a guide on how to make money quickly. If you can’t write for crap, or your just to darn lazy you can purchase PLR rights to an existing guide or package and give that away free. That is always effective.
Step 3.
Now you need a squeeze page. The trick is to not have a bunch of text on it. I convert very high because its I’m straight to the point. If your giving away a free e-course on how to make 100,000 per year, then just state that and ask them to fill out the form.
The most common mistake I see marketers make on squeeze pages is having to much information. Too much text. You don’t have to list everything that is in the report. Just tell them its free and they will fill out their information.
Why is this more effective? Simple. People want free stuff. Who can say no to something free. The reason marketers fail to collect emails is because they confuse the visitor by having to much text on it.
Step 4.
Now you have an effective squeeze page up and its time to start generating targeted traffic. A great way to do this is through article marketing. Submit articles to article directories in related categories. If your articles are good and generate buzz you can get quite a few hits from one article.
Craigslist is also a great source of traffic. Post ads for your free product on here and you should get a good amount of hits from that.
Host firesales. If you don’t know what that is, I suggest doing some research. Host a firesale and ask as many marketers in your niche to participate. You can get 1000 new subscribers per week from one successful firesale.
Step 5
After you have obtained these emails its time to start marketing to them. You should have some email follow-ups set in your autoresponder. Make sure and give quality information to keep your subscribers happy.
